Abstract

The components of the diagnostic toolkit for learning to read are substantiated: understanding of texts of various types by younger schoolchildren: - groups of basic reading skills; - qualitative characteristics of the levels of comprehension of the texts and comments regarding their study; - educational texts for students and tasks for them.
