Abstract

The peculiarities of integrated teaching of language and speech in a modern school in the process of studying the Ukrainian language are considered. The key principles of the formation, development and improvement of the student's speech and language competences are characterized: the principle of integrated learning of language and speech, types of speech activity and the principle of thinking and speech activity.
