Abstract
The collective monograph provides a critical analysis of the theoretical and methodological foundations of the implementation of inclusive education for children with special educational needs in Ukraine. In particular, the loss of the common principles of coexistence of various forms of education by children of the mentioned category and the general decrease in the quality of their psychological and pedagogical support in connection with the refusal of differential diagnosis of their development are emphasized. The differences between medical (nosological) and psychological-pedagogical diagnosis are substantiated. The groundlessness of rejecting the domestic foundations of psychological-pedagogical diagnostics as a definition of the integral structure of hierarchically connected primary and derived from them violations of children's development and learning caused by them is shown. The positions of the authors regarding the application of a unified psychological and pedagogical diagnosis of their development for various forms of education of children with special educational needs are outlined. The stated positions of the author's team are specified in separate sections devoted to diagnosing the development of preschool children and children with severe speech disorders. The content of this collective monograph may be of interest to practical psychologists, teachers, employees of inclusive resource centers for students of the relevant specialization and all those related to the problem of education and development of children with special educational needs.
