Abstract
The author examines the aggravation of the problem of psychological and pedagogical diagnostics in the context of the implementation of inclusive education for children with special educational needs (SEN). The opinion is argued that in today's society imbued with norms, it is inappropriate to abandon the differentiation of normative and disturbed development of children. It is emphasized that practically inclusive education is a compromise between special education and an attempt to include children with disabilities in a single educational process. It is considered as an optimal coexistence of inclusive and special education, built on the single principles of psychological and pedagogical diagnostics.
