Abstract
The article highlights the important problem of the values of forming the moral stability of future officers in military institutions of higher education. Based on the generalization of scientific sources, moral stability is defined as the ability to control one's emotions, the ability to use one's own resources, to find solutions or strategies for behavior in various situations. It is proven that the formation of moral stability of future officers in military institutions of higher education should be based on moral values such as dignity, patriotism, responsibility, optimism and courage. Dignity is a fundamental value that is guaranteed by the Constitution of Ukraine and international law, characterizes the attitude of future officers to themselves and acts as a guarantee of moral stability in their future professional activities. Patriotism as a moral value defines a valuable attitude towards Ukraine, devotion and loyalty to the military oath, service to the Ukrainian people and readiness to protect the territorial integrity of the state. Responsibility is a comprehensive integrated value that determines the effectiveness of future officers, the ability to adhere to moral principles and values without succumbing to pressure or hostile influences. Responsibility involves not only the clear execution of instructions and orders, compliance with the charter, but also the ability to make decisions, choose goals and adequate means of achieving them. Optimism is an important moral value that is based on a positive attitude to life, faith in success and in one's abilities, and resists fear, confusion, despair, indecision, and enables future officers to better mobilize their forces, realize the prospects of their activities, promotes the deployment of internal resources for achieving the goal. Courage as a moral value is an important component of moral stability, aimed at overcoming fear, insecurity or the ravages of events and consequences unfavorable to the individual.
