Abstract
The monograph reveals the actual problem of the integration content of geographic and economic education in Ukraine. The theoretical and methodological principles and practice of implementing the integration content of school geographic and economic education through optional courses are highlighted. Based on the analysis of historical experience, the advantages and disadvantages of the integration process in geographic and economic education are investigated. It has been proven that the integration approach is an effective means of forming the integrity and continuity of the content of school geographic and economic education, a methodical basis for the integration of knowledge and skills. For scientific and pedagogical workers, teachers, lecturers, students of higher pedagogical educational institutions.
