Abstract
The main purpose of the stay of a child with special educational needs in the education system in general can be outlined as his academic and social involvement (socio-educational integration). Therefore, the monitoring of these processes (the social and academic progress of each such student) must be constant. A certain experience of implementing the modern paradigm of education for children with special needs in Ukrainian realities (both in special general education institutions and in inclusive classes), as well as extensive foreign practice, give reasons to orient teachers to a clear scheme, according to which it will be convenient for them to organize and apply evaluation as a permanent cyclical process in their classes.
