Abstract
The professional growth of the personality of a social teacher of a vocational education institution is characterized by the formation and development of their professional self-awareness, self-awareness as a subject of the educational process, the desire to increase the level of acquired professional competence and the formation of a system of professional values. Pedagogical individuality of a social pedagogue is formed in the process of his hard work, acquired self-diagnostic skills, in particular regarding the identification of his strengths and weaknesses.
