Abstract

The processes of reforming modern vocational education are aimed at improving the organisational, managerial, informational, educational, content and procedural, etc. components of the system, which requires the involvement of vocational teachers in the implementation of innovative pedagogical activities based on the multifunctional application of project culture at the personal and professional levels, in macro- and micro-environments, in national and international dimensions. The article substantiates the specific principles of developing the project culture of vocational teachers for the effective implementation of innovative transformational activities in the field of vocational education. Based on the analysis of trends in the modern development of the vocational education system, the peculiarities and conditions of teaching, the patterns of teachers’ professional growth and the social significance of developing their project culture, the essence and significance of such principles are clarified: strategic, resource-based, partnership, standardisation, interdisciplinary and transformative learning. It has been found that in the context of the integration of vocational education with socio-cultural, socio-economic, technical and technological, digital reality and European integration processes, specific principles of developing the project culture of vocational teachers contribute to the concept implementation of lifelong learning and adult education, and in conjunction with scientific approaches and general didactic principles, provide the methodological concept of the study. It is generalized that specific principles are the theoretical basis for the development of a technology for the purposeful development of the project culture components (motivational and value, innovative and cognitive, procedural and activity, and personal and reflective), which will affect the effectiveness of vocational teachers' implementation of effective innovative transformational activities in the field of vocational education, pedagogical activity and high-quality organisation of vocational training of students (including in non-standard conditions).
