Abstract
The review article attempts to outline the trends in the development of andragogic competence of teaching staff in the field of adult education. The meaning of the concept of «trends» has been clarified. It was found that the formulation of the concept of «tendencies» has a multi-vector nature and largely depends on their understanding and key aspects. Based on the analysis of scientific sources, the author characterized the following trends in the development of andragogical competence of teaching staff in the field of adult education: motivation for professional improvement (a set of internal motivations that condition, direct and regulate the process of professional growth); introduction of innovative forms, methods and pedagogical technologies in the educational process (interactive, training and information methods and technologies aimed at the students' independent assimilation of knowledge and acquisition of skills in the process of their active mental and practical activity); the differentiation and flexibility of the professional activity of a modern andragogue specialist (a set of various informational, educational, organizational-management, expert, social-project, research and other roles and functions); formation of professional mobility (an integral component of professional readiness); continuity of education (the development of andragogic competence is an integral part of the professional development of a teacher, which is realized through continuous education); use of innovative possibilities of digital technologies (enable to intensify the educational process, increase the speed and quality of perception, understanding and assimilation of knowledge); individualization of adult education (a complex of organizational, didactic and methodical measures aimed at creating optimal conditions for learning and development); intensification of the process of knowledge acquisition (optimal organization of training, which allows to achieve maximum results in a short period of time). The conclusion is formulated that the considered trends characterize modern changes inherent in the field of adult education in the conditions of modern integration processes, determine the ways of functioning of the field of adult education and orient the educational process to modernization in the context of integration.
