Abstract
The article considers the process of formation of skills of social orientation of preschoolers with visual impairment, formation of cognitive interest in the world by preschoolers with visual impairment, development of cognitive processes of preschool children: development of social activity, formation of subject ideas, formation of self-service skills. their physical "I", the formation of ideas about household activities. Each direction solves its specific tasks, which determine their following content: social activity, subject ideas, self-care, the child about himself, household activities. Teaching preschoolers with visual impairments to social and domestic orientation involves not only the formation of knowledge, skills and abilities of social and domestic orientation, but also the creation of conditions to prevent the manifestation of undesirable personality traits such as independence, helplessness, negative and indifferent attitude to household and other species activities. The purpose of this article is to highlight the areas of work on the formation of skills of social and domestic orientation in preschoolers with visual impairment and the effective use of play activities to master basic skills and abilities. The main didactic tools in the formation of knowledge, skills and abilities in social orientation in children with visual impairments are visual aids, which are a source of formation of specific ideas, the material basis of figurative thinking, a means of preventing verbalism in them. The following methods can be used in correctional classes on social and domestic orientation: visual (demonstration, observation, demonstration of methods of action), practical (subject-practical actions), verbal (explanations, conversation), game (didactic, plot-role games, game characters), methods of emotional stimulation (positive attitude, encouragement, success situation). The result of work on the formation of social knowledge and skills in preschoolers with visual impairments by means of play activities is the formation of their social and life competencies that contribute to maximum personal development, meeting the educational and creative needs of each child. Thus, an important place in the process of forming social and everyday knowledge, skills and abilities in children with visual impairments is occupied by games (didactic, plot-role). The game forms all aspects of the child's personality, there are positive changes in his psyche. This explains the huge educational opportunities of the game, which contribute to the socialization of preschoolers with visual impairments.
