Abstract
According to the typology of difficulties, those that consist in limiting life activities of varying degrees of manifestation of speech functions are called functional-speech difficulties. These include most speech disorders (alalia, aphasia, aphonia, bradylalia, dyslalia, dysarthria, dysphonia, stuttering, rhinolalia, tachylalia). Alalia as a specific disorder of expressive speech, a type of functional-speech difficulties, is characterized not only by speech, but also by non-verbal symptoms, which find their expression, in particular, in the motor sphere. The author presents the qualitative and quantitative results of the logopsychodiagnostic study of practical functions of preschoolers with special speech needs expressed in the form of alalia.
