Abstract

The article describes the peculiarities of the civics content of the integrated course "Exploring history and society" (grades 5-6). Ways to include the citizen science component in the course content are described. Emphasis is placed on the peculiarities of studying civics issues in the 5th and 6th grades in the course lessons. Examples of cognitive tasks from civic education are given.
