Abstract
The syllabus of the educational component "Psychological-pedagogical support for children with special speech needs" is a regulatory document of the Volyn National University named after Lesia Ukrainka, which was developed by the Department of Special and Inclusive Education on the basis of the educational and professional program "Corrective Psychopedagogy and Speech Therapy" of training students of higher education of the first (bachelor's ) level in accordance with the curriculum for the field of knowledge 01 Education/Pedagogy, specialty 016 Special education (016.02 Oligophrenopedagogy) full-time education. The syllabus is drawn up in accordance with the requirements of the European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS). The study of the educational component "Psychological and pedagogical support of children with special speech needs" involves solving a number of tasks of professional training of highly qualified and competitive specialists in the field of special education in accordance with the Standard of Higher Education in the specialty 016 Special education, world trends and national experience of Ukraine, where provided various forms of organization of education and socialization of children. Psychological and pedagogical support for children with special speech needs is considered in three directions: 1) support as education, i.e. creation of conditions that contribute to the successful development of the child; 2) support as protection that ensures security, interests and rights (especially in the conditions of military operations); 3) support as individualization – the readiness of an adult to respond adequately to the satisfaction of special speech needs. Knowledge of the specifics of providing psychological and pedagogical support to children with special speech needs of various nosologies will enable the correctional teacher to implement the correctional and developmental process as effectively as possible in the conditions of the institution or IRC.
