Abstract

The manual contains normative documents of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the Institute for the Modernization of the Content of Education regarding the organization and conduct of the competitive selection of textbook projects for 8th-grade students of general educational institutions and instructional and methodological materials for the examination of electronic versions of textbook projects, developed with the participation of specialists from the Institute of Pedagogy National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine, Institute of Problems of Education of National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine, G.S. Kostiuk Institute of Psychology of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine and the working group of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine on issues of gender equality policy and combating discrimination in the field of education. The manual is intended for scientists, teachers, methodologists who will carry out the examination of electronic versions of draft textbooks for students of the 8th grade of general educational institutions. The manual can be used in the process of improving the qualifications of teachers in the system of postgraduate pedagogical education and during the approbation of school educational literature.
