Abstract
The guide discusses the urgent issues of early intervention in the process of psychosocial development of a child with impaired vision, since it is known that visual deprivation has a negative effect on the child's development, disrupting his interaction with the surrounding world, and, accordingly, the earlier the child is provided with timely professional help, the better it will develop. The basic principles of the formation and development of the basic competencies of a blind child of an early age are revealed. It is recommended for parents of children with visual impairments, teachers and specialists of pre-school primary institutions and rehabilitation centers, scientists, students of higher educational institutions specializing in "typhopedagogy".
