Abstract
The article highlights the genesis of the problem of learning the Ukrainian language for students of 5-6 grades of schools with the languages of instruction of national minorities: the history of the issue is considered, the current state is ascertained, and the prospects for development are outlined. On the basis of the scientific investigations of O. Bilyaev, S. Kutova, I. Kucherenko, I. Lopushynskyi, L. Matsko, V. Melnychaik, M. Pentylyuk, L. Rozhilo and others, the diversity of language education problems is represented. Based on the research of V. Tkachenko, two periods are distinguished in the development of school language education in independent Ukraine: nationally oriented (V. Tkachenko) and nationally stabilizing (N. Bogdanets-Biloskalenko, L. Davidyuk), transformative processes in the linguistic educational space of Ukraine in each of the specified periods are characterized. State documents and concepts of Ukrainian language learning are analyzed from the angle of the studied problem. It is emphasized that the problem of fluency in the state language by citizens of Ukraine of various nationalities is of primary importance for their socialization, stimulation of their intellectual contribution to the scientific potential, integration into the culture of the Ukrainian community, formation of the Ukrainian scientific, artistic, political and business elite from among representatives of various ethnic groups. The contribution of O. Khoroshkovska and the teaching laboratory was determined of Ukrainian literature in the schools of national minorities of Ukraine and the diaspora in the generalization of theoretical and methodological developments, the disclosure of linguistic didactic approaches to determining the content, methods and methods of teaching. The beginning of the third stage of language education in Ukraine has been established, and the prospects for the development of Ukrainian language learning in classes with the language of national minorities have been determined. The model was considered and the task of multilingual education was defined. Its implementation will help improve the quality of Ukrainian education; activation of productive dialogue regarding the place and role of languages of indigenous peoples and national minorities in the educational process; the weakening of the political component in determining the orientations of the transformation of language education in the multi-ethnic regions of Ukraine.
