Abstract

Forms, methods and means of teaching have deep historical roots in pedagogy. At the same time, their modern characteristics differ from those that were generally accepted several decades ago. This is primarily due to the subordination of these categories to the purpose and content of education: with the introduction of the competence paradigm, the specifics of the corresponding teaching forms, methods and means are gradually updated. Also, during the last few years, drastic changes in education caused by unpredictable global influences have a significant impact on the vector of their development. It is important to harmonize the forms, methods and means of teaching with digital educational technologies.
