Abstract

The main goal of education of children with special needs is their involvement in all spheres of life regardless of any of their differences. Inclusive education involves, in addition to high-quality academic progress, primarily the social development of students. In order to ensure the acquisition of interpersonal competence and their full-fledged social integration by students with special educational needs, it is necessary to form social competence in children, as systematically and consistently as basic academic knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies. This requires collective efforts and long-term planned work of the whole team, which includes primarily teachers, students and their parents.
