Abstract
The publication examines the issue of the readiness of the teacher, who is one of the key subjects of transformations in the educational sphere, to implement inclusive education. Emphasis is placed on the fact that the teacher's realization of his potential as a subject of inclusion involves establishing interaction with a child with special educational needs through understanding the specifics of one or another violation, developing the skills to perceive the child as he is, emotionally and psychologically, overcoming manifestations of stigmatization, establishing contact directly with this student and assistance his interaction with other participants of the educational process.
