Abstract

To minimize and eliminate barriers, overcome educational barriers difficulties, including functional, sensory and speech, to one degree or another inherent in children with hearing impairments, is oriented by the domestic educational legislative field. There is a departure from the nosological approach, according to which the condition of hearing (a medical indicator) was decisive for the choice of an educational path (type of educational institution, content and teaching methods), instead, functional indicators formed under the influence of the educational environment acquire great significance. This expands the possibilities of meeting the needs of every child with hearing impairment, including children with cochlear implants.
