Abstract
Awareness of the importance of involving all segments of the population in an active and productive life determined the reorientation of progressive countries to inclusive education, which includes creating equal opportunities for persons with special educational needs and ensuring their success in the educational process and further life. The success of implementing the principles of inclusive education depends on a number of factors. The dominant one is the professional competence of teachers in inclusive education. In that aspect, the problem of developing the teachers’ inclusive competence at vocational colleges. The issue has not been practically developed in Ukraine. Thus, it is becoming particularly important.
