Abstract
The essence of professional self-determination of an individual is finding personal meanings in professional activity. The professional self-determination of a schoolchild is the identification of oneself in relation to the criteria, principles and norms of professional activity accepted in society. The correct choice of profession by high school students is important not only from the point of view of determining individual life plans for the future, but also from the point of view of the development of society as a whole.
