Abstract
The article outlines the main challenges faced by education in Ukraine during the large-scale invasion of russia. They are connected with the destruction of the infrastructure of educational institutions, the loss of personnel potential, the reduction of education funding, the outflow of Ukrainian education seekers in the conditions of martial law. The current state of the educational process in educational institutions is analyzed. The war became a shock and destabilizing factor for the domestic scientific community, which led to the forced adaptation of mixed education, which is quite chaotic. Current problems that have worsened and arisen in the education system of Ukraine, in the conditions of a rapid increase in established challenges, are considered. Among them, the pedagogic factors of the student's failure to succeed at school are an excessively rigid system of education, which complicates the individualization of didactic and educational work, which makes it impossible to combine the educational process with actual needs. The opportunities that Ukrainian education can obtain for its development even under such difficult conditions are given, namely: the reform of modern education, which requires the training of a teacher who is able to benefit his country, to form a generation that is able to live and create in conditions of continuous changes, to represent the nation worthily in the world cultural and economic space, to ensure its successful entry into the world community. The training of such a teacher is made possible by a qualitative update of his professional training, first of all, ensuring the focus on the formation of a high level of pedagogical competence, which implies a creative level of professional knowledge and skills. An important means of forming the professional competence of teachers is their involvement in research work. Scientific research is the result of pedagogical research, which contributes to the enrichment of the theory and practice of pedagogical science and provides a deep understanding of the essence of pedagogical phenomena, innovative solutions to extraordinary pedagogical tasks. It was determined that an important element of the education of the future is the introduction of the latest technologies into the educational process in order to comprehensively attract, inspire and motivate learners to achieve educational goals, regardless of their knowledge and individual characteristics. It has been proven that the number of those who want to study and have access to Internet resources under government programs and have critical thinking and the ability to solve problems rank first among skills.
