Abstract

Virolainen O. V. Management of the institution of general secondary education in the conditions of mixed education. – Qualifying scientific work on manuscript rights. Dissertation for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in specialty 011 – еducational, pedagogical sciences – State Institution of Higher Education Management «University of Education Management» of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine, Kyiv, 2023. Annotation content The dissertation is a theoretical and experimental study of the problem of managing an institution of general secondary education in the conditions of mixed education. The relevance of the study is determined by the high level of society's requirements for the competitiveness of graduates of general secondary education institutions, the need to introduce innovative technologies into the management process of general secondary education institutions in conditions of mixed education, and the lack of meaningful organizational and methodological support for the researched process in the postgraduate education system. The significance of the problem of assessing the quality of basic secondary education, and therefore improving the mechanisms of organizing the educational process in institutions of general secondary education, is updated. In the process of the research, scientific approaches to the essence of the main concepts of the research were positioned, the content, forms and methods of management of the institution of general secondary education in the conditions of mixed education were characterized; a criterion-level analysis of the management process of a general secondary education institution in the conditions of mixed education was carried out, its effectiveness was investigated. The work theoretically substantiates the essence of managing a general secondary education institution in the conditions of mixed education; integration processes in the modern educational space, which affect the improvement of the quality of educational services in the institution of general secondary education. The task of ensuring a high level of education quality occupies the main place in the reform of the national system of general secondary education, as they reflect the key positions of the vision and mission of the development of educational institutions. Increasing requirements for the quality of education, the development of students' creative abilities, the level of culture and moral and spiritual education of the younger generation motivates the awareness of the need to introduce blended learning into the educational process of a general secondary education institution. The form of mixed education, as evidenced by pedagogical experience, contributes to ensuring a high intellectual level of citizens, which opens up wide opportunities for students to receive educational services in an unlimited geographical space and meets the individual educational needs of each student, contributes to the development of independent planning and the construction of a personally oriented educational schedule of the student. Attention is focused on the era of digitization of the process of providing educational services in the institution of general secondary education. The introduction of various forms of education (distance, network, correspondence, individual) as components of mixed education in Ukraine begins a new page in the formation of the domestic educational space. The use in the educational process of blended learning: elements of distance, network, individual forms and methods of learning contributes to the individualization of the process of successful learning, encourages students to work independently, contributes to the formation of their information culture, directs them to mastering innovative means of obtaining and applying educational information. A theoretical analysis of the domestic and foreign experience of mixed education in a general secondary education institution and the peculiarities of the organization of mixed education in the countries: Italy, Nigeria, China, the United States of America, Croatia, Germany, Great Britain was carried out. The research substantiates the need for the process of introducing distance learning as a component of blended learning, which begins a new page in the history of domestic education in the conditions of an innovative educational space. The basis for such a statement is the positioning of the development trends of secondary general education institutions, which are inextricably linked to significant social, cultural and innovative educational shifts in the conditions of informatization of society. The scientific novelty of the obtained results is that for the first time: essence, structural and content components of management of a general secondary education institution in the conditions of mixed education are scientifically substantiated; a criterion-level analysis of the effectiveness of the management of the institution of general secondary education in the conditions of mixed education was carried out; a theoretically justified and experimentally verified model of management of a general secondary education institution in conditions of mixed education, which includes: a target component (the goal and task of ensuring the positive dynamics of management of a general secondary education institution in conditions of mixed education), theoretical and methodological component (theoretical approaches, principles and stages of management of a general secondary education institution in conditions of mixed education), content component (management subjects, content of management, management objects), organizational and activity component (forms, methods and means of organizational -methodical support for the management of a general secondary education institution in conditions of mixed education), evaluation-resultative component (criteria, indicators and levels of effectiveness of management of a general secondary education institution in conditions of mixed education), result (positive dynamics of management of an institution of general secondary education in conditions of mixed education); the organizational and pedagogical conditions of managing a general secondary education institution in the conditions of mixed education (normative- legal, methodical, psychological-pedagogical, and material-technical) were defined and substantiated. The author's interpretation clarified and presented the essence of the concepts "mixed education in institutions of general secondary education", "management of an institution of general secondary education in conditions of mixed education". Further development took place: ways to improve the management of a general secondary education institution in the conditions of mixed education based on the developed methodical recommendations. In the course of the study, it was found that the educational process management system is an important element of blended learning, which contributes to ensuring continuous access to educational materials, communication between students and teachers, and organization of monitoring the level of educational knowledge of students. The implementation of the above- mentioned tasks is possible under the condition of the predicted growth of the professional competence of the manager and the management team and the teaching staff of the general secondary education institution in the conditions of mixed education. The work positions the results of the organization of blended learning in the institution of general secondary education by means of seminars, webinars, hackathons, round tables, etc. The positive dynamics of the effectiveness of the management of the institution of general secondary education with mixed learning was monitored under the specified conditions, approaches, principles and stages of management activity on the basis of appropriate organizational and methodological support and the use of ICT and Internet resources. The developed model of management of a general secondary education institution in the conditions of mixed education is a relationship of its components, the complex implementation of which affects the positive dynamics of the effectiveness of the management of a general secondary education institution in the conditions of mixed education. The practical significance of the obtained research results is: development and implementation of the management model of a general secondary education institution in the conditions of mixed education into the management activities of the heads of general secondary education institutions; development of diagnostic tools for the technological support of the management of a general secondary education institution in the conditions of mixed education; development of methodological recommendations for the management of a general secondary education institution in the conditions of mixed education. Research materials can be used by scientists, researchers, heads of general secondary education institutions, organizers of professional development courses in the postgraduate education system.
