Abstract

In the conditions of temporary restrictions on the organization of the educational process, caused by the Covid-19 pandemic and martial law, there is a need to find and implement other approaches to the practical training of students in higher education institutions. Student practice is an important component of the process of training highly qualified specialists on the labor market, which allows them to develop/improve their professional competences, gain practical experience, soft and hard skills for further professional activity. Organizing and conducting various types of practices in the context of military operations entails changing the format of professional interaction between teachers and students, maintaining safe conditions for organizing the educational process, selecting and implementing of the latest forms and methods of learning and teaching. Conducting different types of practices can be organized using distance and blended learning technologies based on appropriate changes made to the practice programs in terms of defining tasks, their practical implementation, reporting forms, etc. The article describes the experience of Bila Tserkva Institute of Continuous Professional Education at the State Higher Education Institution «University of Educational Management» of the NAES of Ukraine in organizing and conducting of various types of practices. The practical training of students is substantiated as an obligatory component of their professional training, necessary to bridge the qualification gap between the needs of the labor market and the insufficient level of training of a modern specialist who must have a wide range of skills, interests, professional experience, be able to work in multilingual and multicultural environments, at the intersection of various sciences, fields and industries, and perform professional activities at a new level. The main goal and task, approaches to the organization of practices during the martial law in the educational and professional programs «Higher Education Pedagogy», «Psychology», «Educational Institution Management», «Administrative management» are determined. The bases of practices for each educational program are specified. The organization and passing of types of practices abroad are described. The results of the scientific search were obtained in accordance with the complex theme of the scientific research work of Bila Tserkva Institute of Continuous Professional Education «Trendwatching of the labor market in the system of training and professional development of specialists in the conditions of the post-war recovery of Ukraine» (0122U202007, 2022-2025).
