Abstract
The article analyzes the key issues of global scientific research in the field of pedagogy, trends and development prospects. The definition of key questions is based on the analysis of research activities, which was carried out in order to describe the results of scientific research both quantitatively and qualitatively in a traditional way (using such indicators as the number of publications, etc.) and modern (using computational methods). A theoretical discussion about future trends in the field of pedagogy was conducted through a detailed analysis of published publications in the Scopus and Google Scholar databases. The purpose of the article is to analyze the key issues of world scientific research in the field of pedagogy: to analyze trends, establish and draw conclusions about the stages that pedagogical sciences have passed in this process, to determine new directions for their further development and to highlight the experience of scientific research of scientists from Ukraine. The research was carried out using the methods of content analysis, synthesis, systematization of data in scientific literature. It can be reported that scientific achievements may be divided into three stages ‐ before the pandemic, the effectiveness of introducing digital tools into the educational process, the possibilities of using multimedia and digital tools to improve the effectiveness of education were studied to a greater extent. The second stage, during the pandemic, is characterized by studying the peculiarities and effectiveness of distance learning, the impact of stress on learning were studied. In the third stage, after the pandemic, in scientific research the ways to increase the effectiveness of learning in distance and mixed learning formats are being explored, and the learning experience during the pandemic is being analyzed.
