Abstract
The risk-based approach to occupational safety and health and the creation of safe working conditions is one of the main parts of the country's socio-economic development, which is part of the state policy, directly the Sustainable Development Strategy of Ukraine until 2030, focused on the vectors: development, safety, responsibility, pride, where the development vector is to ensure the country's sustainable development, structural reforms, economic growth in an environmentally sustainable way, creating favorable conditions for doing business, therefore The content of the e-learning course and its topics are devoted to risk-based approaches to occupational safety and health. The manual addresses such issues as what is risk, what are the methods for identifying and assessing risk, and what are the strategies for reducing risks in the workplace. The consequences of negligence in the field of occupational safety and health can be particularly serious in educational institutions. Therefore, it is important to apply risk-based approaches to occupational safety and health in this sector. The proposed course analyzes the risks associated with occupational safety in educational institutions and considers the advantages of risk-based approaches compared to traditional occupational safety and health methods. The relevance of the course is confirmed by the concept of reforming the occupational safety and health management system in Ukraine, as well as by government documents and the national profile on occupational safety and health of Ukraine, which was approved by social partners and government agencies. The course aims to define the theoretical aspects of risk-based approaches to occupational health and safety, as well as to consider the practical aspects of their implementation in the workplace. The e-course will be useful for heads of educational institutions, occupational health and safety officers, as well as for anyone interested in ensuring occupational safety in educational institutions.
