Abstract
The article presents the results of an empirical study that aimed to identify and analyze differences in the ranking by the heads of general secondary education institutions, depending on their gender, of various processes and actions according to their degree of importance (priority) to improve and ensure the high quality of education in the institution. The objects of assessment were divided into five groups of processes and actions: goal-setting and planning, educational institution management, teaching quality assurance, interaction and communication, and improvement of the educational process. The results of the study with 99% confidence confirmed the assumption that there are gender differences in the definition of priority actions by school leaders aimed at ensuring and improving the quality of education.
