Abstract
The success of a special seminar on the problem of continuous professional development with teachers of an out-of-school education institution depends on the preparatory work. Both the theory and the practice of continuous professional education indicate the dependence of this work on the professional and personal qualities of the leader who develops the technology for conducting this form of work. It is important for a seminar leader to have strong pedagogical knowledge, the ability to present a variety of psychological and pedagogical technologies, and the readiness to independently obtain information that will interest the target audience, in this case, experienced teachers of out-of-school education institutions.
