Abstract

The following components of the structure of patriotic education for future university teachers have been determined: educational ideal; Ukrainian-centric ideology; interpersonal teacher-student’s educational interaction; nationally significant student’s behavior in various activities; psychological mechanism of education; external and internal conditions of functioning of educational process. The “framework” of ideas about the ideal teacher in terms of the country's needs in war and post-war times has been drawn. The essence of other components of the corresponding structure is disclosed. Emphasis is laid on aspects of the content of patriotic education in a pedagogical university, which under certain conditions contribute to national stability in personal and social terms.
