Abstract

The theses emphasize the potential of school civic education in the formation/development of students' infomedia literacy. The program of the "Civic Education" course (grade 10) is analyzed, examples from model curricula (grades 5-6) of civic and historical education are given. The conditions for effective teaching of infomedia literacy to students are indicated.
