Abstract

The paper presents comparative analysis of major so ftware technological characteristics and functional features of electron ic open access journal systems. Conducted a detailed review of specialized literature, developer’s sites and the world experience analysis of installing these class systems. Recommendations for the use of such electronic publishing services by national research and educat ional institutions in the release process of scientific and educational publications are pres ented. Has made an attempt of selecting the best e-journal system that meets the needs and resources of individual publications and research institution that supports it.
