Abstract
The humanistic paradigm of training and education of the individual first of all includes an individual approach to it, considers the individualization of training as a mandatory component of the training process. The analysis of the main approaches to the concept of "individualization" presented in the psychological and pedagogical literature made it possible to consider it from different angles and to determine that individualization is carried out in two directions: didactic (a system of actions of the pupils and teacher that would satisfy the interests of the pupil; a complex of forms, methods , methods, means as the basis of influence on the child's personality) and psychological (taking into account the abilities, mental characteristics of the individual, which influence the process and result, determine the consequences of education).
