Abstract

In theses, the views of K.D. Ushinsky for training an educated teacher interested in self-development and self-education. It was established that the scientist proposed a detailed scientific theory of teacher training based on seminars and the organization of pedagogical faculties at universities, putting forward the basic requirement of the unity of education and upbringing: education has meaning in the pedagogical process only as a way of education.
