Abstract

Сonsiders such narrative methods as essays and storytelling and emphasizes their pedagogical potential in forming a socially successful personality of a senior pupil. The researcher focuses on varieties of narrative methods, their effectiveness in educating pupils and the features of their application, as well as the experience of introducing essays and storytelling into the educational process of experimental institutions of general secondary education.
