Abstract
The authors have considered the peculiarities of using verbal media content, which contains information about socially significant innovations and public initiatives, in training practice. On the example of a practical case, the options for using such media content in trainings are described. The authors also determined the expediency of using verbal media content for the activation of civil attitudes and thematic discussions, conducting business games and simulating situations in the process of implementing training and educational programs.
