Abstract
Since the beginning of the full-scale military aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, the problem of high-quality professional training of cadets in higher education institutions has become the subject of attention of a wide range of scientists (A. Didenko, V. Mirnenko, V. Rakhmanova, I. Rusnak, etc.). A graduate of a higher military educational institution (VVNZ) for the needs of the security and defense sector should first of all be able to effectively organize, manage, fight, win and train their subordinates in this. However, the result of studying the experience of the formation of young graduates allowed us to identify practical scientific and pedagogical contradictions between: not satisfactory quality of Officer Training for the needs of the security and defense sector and the requirements of the customer; not compliance of the modern model of Officer Training in VVNZ with high requirements of officers ' readiness for professional activity in conditions of combat operations associated with high risk to life and high stress.Therefore, the purpose of the report is to outline the key professional requirements for scientific and pedagogical personnel in the updated model of higher education institutions.
