Abstract
The transition to distance and mixed learning reduced the opportunities for pupils' socialization, their informal communication, and changed the forms of educational communication. But despite the change of the traditional form of education to a mixed one, the textbook remains the main book for the pupil, especially in elementary school. The updated methodological apparatus of the textbook promotes the child's entry into the virtual world, the world of cooperation with other people, teaches independence and guides the way of interaction. The ability to interact with others takes priority for a school graduate, and this skill is established at the most favorable age of a child - 7‒11 years. It is then that she learns to be open, not complex and can learn at a fast pace, trying on various life roles in a playful way.
