Abstract

The history of creation and development of the Kiev school-orphanage for deaf children early twentieth century. Analyzed and summarized the outstanding role of deaf educator N.K. Patkanova-Krankovska (1880-1929) in the development of education for children with impaired hearing, her dedicated teaching activities according to the rights of the deaf child's life along with the hearing. Is described the methodical system for N.K. Patkanova-Krankovska, which was based on the use of visual-acoustic method of work which includes training of preschool children (production of sounds, pronunciation, warehouses, etc.), and subsequently the students (repetition and consolidation of language audio process) with visual perception. Elucidated the organization of training and educational work in the school shelter, particularly in preschool, children's education which began with three years because, according to the outstanding deaf educator, up to three years of a deaf child is almost never behind in the development of hears. Focused attention on the speech N.K. Patkanova-Krankovska on II All-Russia Congress of deaf educators (1903), where she suggested that rather bold by the time the plan - a radical reorganization of all deaf education by introducing a clear system of early (preschool) education before high school and even high school. Indicated that its methodical system was to implement as early as possible preparing kids to learn the language.
