Abstract

The monograph is dedicated to the issues of teaching excellence paradigm implementation in Ukraine. This is one of priority directions in the development of European Higher Education Area where Ukraine belongs. The monograph consists of three parts: the first part summarizes theoretical foundations and political preconditions for boosting excellence in teaching and learning in universities; the second part illustrates good practices of Ukrainian higher education institutions and research institutions, as well as international projects that are being implemented in Ukraine and focus on the teaching excellence matters; the third part contains practical recommendations addressed to universities and research institutions regarding development of institutional models, strategies, approaches, and solutions aimed at enhancing the quality of teaching and learning. The monograph will be a helpful tool to academic staff and university leaders, researchers and experts interested in teaching excellence in higher education and directly responsible for its promotion and enhancement in higher education institutions.
