Abstract

Abstract. An article about the experience of using project technology in the educational process of the scientific lyceum. The task of a modern educational institution is to form a competent person who is ready to make his professional choice and has practical knowledge. Such a person has the experience of harmonious coexistence with nature and is capable of active transformation of the world around him. The use of project technology is an effective means of organizing research-oriented learning. Being able to create, implement or participate in projects is an important competence that contributes to the formation of life values. Every year on the basis of the Children's Botanical Garden of the Chernihiv Regional Pedagogical Lyceum for Gifted Rural Youth ,the educational practice of students is organized, which takes place in the form of the Summer Intellectual School. The integration of different disciplines contributes to the acquisition of knowledge about the environment, the development of practical skills of nature conservation. Students learn to take care of nature, perform creative, cognitive, intellectual, research tasks. Students of all profiles are involved in the implementation of educational projects. We present a training project that was launched in June 2021. It is about the creation of the Chernihiv Regional Pedagogical Lyceum for Gifted Rural Youth "King Solomon's Garden" as a spiritual, cultural, intellectual center for the community of the region.
