Abstract
The monograph at the level of paradigms highlights and substantiates the transformational changes in the development of secondary general education in Ukraine, summarizes the strategies of the state educational policy and the corresponding tactical shifts in this educational field in the days of independence. The leading trends in the reform of school education in 1991-2017 are singled out and characterized. The philosophical and educational discourse of reform processes in education, in particular in school education, is formulated, the importance of philosophy for the strategic provision of successful renewal of Ukrainian education is outlined. The materials of the monograph are intended for use in the lecture activities of teachers of higher education institutions (HEIs) and teachers of post-graduate pedagogical education institutes (IPPOs) of Ukraine, for updating the content of educational and educational-scientific programs in ZVOs and IPPOs of Ukraine, as well as in the research of scientists, postgraduates, future teachers, educators-practitioners.
