Abstract

With the help of a comparative study, the monograph analyzes the emergence, formation and development of the system of special education in Ukraine and Poland for more than two centuries (late 18th - early 21st centuries), reflects the process of reforming and modernizing special education in the two countries in the system of general education, considers modern educational reforms as a response to the processes of globalization and European integration; forecasting trends in the development of domestic special education are outlined. The book is intended for teachers, students, researchers, parents of children with special needs, anyone interested in special education.
