Abstract
Methodological recommendations refer to four optional courses for a specialized school, developed according to programs approved for use in general educational institutions by the chemistry commission of the Scientific and Methodical Council for Education of the Ministry of Education and Culture of Ukraine. For teachers who will teach students according to the program of the optional generalization course "Organic substances. 11th grade", the following main methodological guidelines are defined: increased attention to primary generalizations during the study of the basic course of chemistry; compilation of summary tables and diagrams; performance by students of training exercises and tasks for preliminary preparation for generalization; organization of students' independent work; maintaining their motivation; use of ICT. Interdisciplinary content of the optional course "Bioorganic Chemistry. 11th grade" determines the nature of methodological recommendations aimed at forming a holistic idea of students about the interrelationship of the composition, structure, properties and functions in the body of substances involved in the processes of human metabolism. Methodological recommendations for the optional course "Solving problems in chemistry. 10-11 grades" direct the teacher to the formation of students' subject and key competencies, systematization of knowledge, development of students' independent work skills and the ability to find their own way of solving problems. The material covers all types of problems studied in the main chemistry program, as well as combined problems. In the methodical recommendations for the optional course "Modern technologies and materials. 11th grade" for each topic contains material that can be used during the study of the course, in particular, about the use of modern materials in various fields, promising developments of Ukrainian scientists. Concepts that require a detailed explanation by the teacher are considered, as they immerse students in a new, still unknown world of nanomaterials and modern technologies.
