Abstract
The article deals with the problem of forming a valuable attitude towards animals among schoolchildren in the conditions of war. The concept ”valuable attitude towards animals” was defined. It is considerade as a result of the development of humanity, when the need for hunting for survival disappears and the need for contact with the natural environment increases. According to the logic of the given research, a valuable attitude towards animals is not only a moral, but a social need, which allows the individual to feel responsible for the results of his own activity, to appreciate various manifestations of life, the uniqueness of the animal world. The concept of “ecological competence” was revealed as a result of education, which consists in the ability to apply ethical and ecological knowledge and experience in various life situations, guided by moral values and humane motives in interaction with animals based on the awareness of personal responsibility for its consequences and involvement in their fate. Axiological and competence-based scientific approaches to the formation of schoolchildren's value attitude towards animals are characterized. Considerable attention is paid to the project activities of schoolchildren with an ecological focus, which is carried out in stages. The main stages of project activity (preparatory, establishing, organizational, experimental, summarizing, final) were revealed. Various types of projects for schoolchildren were presented (informational, philosophical, creative, game, practice-oriented). The practical significance of the article lies in the fact that its materials can be used in the organization of the educational and educational process of out-of-school education institutions, institutions of general secondary education, teacher training and pedagogical practice of students of higher education.
