Abstract
The article presents the results of an empirical study, which aimed to identify differences in the definition by administrators of general secondary education institutions, depending on their post (principal and vice-principal), of the difficulty of objectively assessing the various characteristics of educational and managerial processes. It was found that these differences can be explained by different job competencies of administrators and the degree of their responsibility for the results of the implementation of activity of a general secondary education institution.
