Abstract

Methodological recommendations developed within the scope of the scientific study "Criteria for negative impact of audiovisual products on the psychological well-being of children of various ages" (Decision of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine No. 1-2/2-13 of 02.1.2021 under contract No. 12/6/1-21 of the Ministry of Education and Culture dated February 1, 2021), are intended for use by experts in the media psychology and media education fields. The proposed methods, based on the provisions of scientific psychology and the experience of the modern practice of forensic psychological examination, establish the sequence of actions of an expert when solving issues related to the psychological research of media products, from the point of view of determining the media risks hidden in them, causing harm to health and psychological well-being child. Addressed to specialists in the psychological and media spheres, scientists, forensic experts, practical psychologists, media psychologists, media educators, media producers, mental health specialists, employees of judicial and law enforcement agencies. Can be used in the system of training and advanced training of forensic experts, practicing psychologists, media psychologists, scientists, mental health specialists, media producers and teachers, to work with parents in the framework of family media education to increase the general level of their psychological competences in the conditions of the information society.
