Abstract
The full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation into our country was preceded by an unprincipled and lying information company, the purpose of which was to discredit the public institutions of Ukraine, to provoke various internal conflicts, to destroy the creation of an atmosphere of spirituality, a negative attitude towards culture and historical heritage, etc. In a slightly modified form, the information and propaganda influence continues today. The proposed article is devoted to the issue of countering the informational component of Russian aggression. The article defines the concept of hybrid war, highlights its informational component. The impact of information and propaganda on a person is considered. It is claimed that in order to successfully counter the aggressor on the information front on a national scale, it is necessary to unite the efforts of conscious sections of the population. We are talking about people who work directly with information flows and youth. These are teachers, psychologists, journalists, bloggers, priests, librarians, public figures, cultural figures, etc. As an example of such an information countermeasure, the implementation of support for the most important aspects of the teacher’s information competence for countering the informational component of hybrid aggression is given. The article notes that the informational component of the hybrid war is aimed at destructuring and destabilizing society, lowering the moral and psychological state of the population, provoking and supporting manifestations of collaboration with the aggressor, and undermining the national security of the state. All this requires informational resistance from citizens to ensure the protection of Ukrainian values and countering enemy aggression. An important place in the ranks of this resistance is occupied by educators who work with youth - one of the most vulnerable sections of the population. The success of this activity directly depends on the teacher's own information competence, his ability to defend Ukrainian values, awareness of the real state of affairs, understanding of the degree of danger of information threats and the ability to resist them.
