Abstract
Mykhailov V. M. The System of Professional Development of Civil Security Specialists in Postgraduate Education. - Manuscript. Thesis for obtaining the scientific degree of Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, speciality 13.00.04 – Theory and Methodology of Professional Education. – Ivan Zyazyun Institute of Pedagogical and Adult Education of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine. – Kyiv, 2022. In the thesis, a holistic analysis of the system of advanced training of civil security specialists in postgraduate education was carried out. The specifics of improving the qualifications of these specialists in view of the specific nature of their professional activity, were revealed. The author’s concept of advanced training of civil security specialists in postgraduate education was theoretically substantiated and developed. The approaches and principles that became the methodological basis of the research were highlighted. An invariant model of the professional competence of civil security specialists with taking into account the multifaceted nature of their professional activity, was designed. The components of professional activity (cognitive, activity, personal-value) were distinguished as well as the criteria (content-semantic, organizational-activity, personal) and their indicators, on the basis of which the levels of professional competence of civil security specialists were determined (low, medium, high). The system of advanced training of civil security specialists in postgraduate education was developed and theoretically substantiated as a set of interrelated and mutually determined structural blocks (target, theoretical-methodological, semantic, organizational-active, diagnostic-resultative). Its effectiveness was varified experimentally. Pedagogical conditions for the effectiveness of advanced training of civil security specialists in postgraduate education, which ensure positive dynamics of the development of components of professional competence, were substantiated. Educational and methodological support for the development of professional competence of civil security specialists in the system of professional development was developed. The prospects for the development of the system of professional development of civil security specialists were outlined.
